From the beginning of their turbulent love affair, sweet Everleigh and rock star Ayden Grace had one thing in common: their addiction to each other. That addiction takes them to the heights of love and the depths of hopelessness and shows the strength of the human spirit when it’s fighting to hold on to something it thinks it needs to survive...even if that thing is destructive.
Tangled with their story is a sister trying to come to terms with the death of her brother. Mari Saldona is the reporter on the scene when Ayden’s body is brought out and is strongly affected by the sight of the star’s grief-stricken wife, Leigh, hysterical and clinging to her husband’s body. His death brings up memories of her brother’s recent death, also from a drug overdose. Assigned to write an exposé on the dead star and his wife, Mari becomes consumed with the couple’s story and is rocked to her core when she discovers the connection between her brother and Ayden that led to both of them losing their lives.
